If you think you might have sleep apnea, it's time to find out. The first step is to arrange for an overnight sleep study with one of Dr. Striebel's trusted sleep physicians. A variety of tests are performed to measure and record brain and muscle activity, as well as eye movements, heart rate, airflow and snoring. If it's been a while since your sleep study, further at-home testing with a pulse oximetry monitor may be necessary to evaluate significant changes in oxygen saturation during sleep. Dr. Striebel is able to provide this equipment without the need for an overnight observation.
